I received my Doctor of Medicine Degree at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk Virginia.

My psychiatry residency training was at SUNY Downstate / Kings County Hospital Center in Brooklyn NY.

My Adult Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Certification training was at the Psychoanalytic Association of New York affiliated with NYU.

I have experience working with individuals who are victims or survivors of Domestic, Gender based, and intimate partner Violence.

I have worked with individuals who have serious mental illness diagnoses including Schizophrenia and Bipolar disorder, as well as individuals with substance use disorders, personality disorders, and individuals with trauma and stressor related disorders such as PTSD and Dissociative Disorders.

I have experience working with LGBTQ+ individuals. Including individuals who identify as transgender or non-binary.

My treatment approach is patient-centered with a focus on empowering my patients in their lives and in the treatment that is offered.
